Social medias became such a part of our daily life that it seems quiet natural to spend few hours a day browsing Facebook, pinning on Pinterest, filtering  on Instagram, recording on Vine, and of course blogging.  I must admit that I’m often using The Bubblist as an excuse to satisfy my social medias cravings, but objectively nowadays networking and adopting these new medias is part of the job. We previously saw the creativity and the innovation potential of the social medias, the way how artists are using them in order to spread their art, or more ingenious, the way they are deflecting them to make them become an art medium.

I personally love Tumblr, this social network and short-form blogging suits perfectly to visual art. The platform put an emphasis on pictures/images and multimedia. It’s truly inspiring and a clever way to highlight artworks. From artists to famous art institutions such as Christie’s, Tumblr became in two years a reference in microblogging.
