The Tel Aviv Art Council is a great organization, trying to bring awareness regarding the creative culture of Tel Aviv. They provide venues, and put together amazing high quality arty events, also accessible to the international community of Tel Aviv.
For the opening of the 6th Fresh Paint Art Fair, they are presenting a private lecture with Russian/Israeli Artist, Evgeny Svyatsky from the leading Contemporary Art Group in Russia, AES+F. This Moscow based group, works with different medias such as sculpture, video and painting, but focuses mainly on photography. They like manipulating images, offering us surrealistic and futuristic visions. It makes me think a bite to David Lachapelle minus the “Bling Bling ” touch and with a nicer sense of aesthetic and a political dimension.
